Sheraton Sand Key Resort Each year for the last 33 years, members of the AIChE Central Florida Section and colleagues from all over the world have gathered at Clearwater Beach to share their ideas concerning Chemical Process Technology, specifically the production of Phosphoric Acid, Phosphate Fertilizers and Sulfuric Acid. The Convention provides ample excuse for a relaxing getaway with friends and family, good food, and a lot of fun! Hope to see you at Clearwater 2010.

Members of the AIChE, Fellow Chemical Engineers, Friends and Families:

We would like to invite you to attend our annual Clearwater Convention, hosted by the Central Florida Section of the AIChE. This year's convention, our 34th at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater, will be held on Friday, June 11th and Saturday, June 12th.

This year, there will be two sessions on Friday afternoon. The first will be our usual sulfuric acid technology session, chaired by Rick Davis and Jim Dougherty. The Second session will be the Florida PE Laws and Rules To obtain PDH certification for conference sessions, you must attend the full session of the section for which you need credit. You must also supply your P.E. number on or before Friday, June 11, 2010, and you must have your attendance verified by proctors.

As more arrangements are finalized, we will publish them on the site. If you would like to attend the 2010 Conference, please complete the Registration Application and submit the fees to our Conference Treasurer, Bruce Wiggins, whose contact information is conveniently located on the bottom of the registration form.
